The first Scandinavian AFL recruit?

With international recruits becoming more common in the AFL, the Sydney Swans have recruited US basketballer Alex Starling.
Starling was recruited under the AFL’s International Scholarship Scheme, which will allow him to train with the Swans and also complete his four year degree in Florida.
If everything progress as expected, Starling will be recruited to the Swans’ list as an international rookie in 2013.
Naturally, the question then is, who will be Scandinavia’s first recruit to the AFL? Or has there already been one – let me know if so!

Dunno but there was a few guys down I Malmö that looked good!!
I think a decent ruckmen first up, it seems the talls are much easier to get to the level of AFL if we go off what has been recruited in recent years. Unless they come from a pro sports background, then other positions are a possibilty!! Time to hit the Handball clubs up!!!
